Who We Are

Since opening its doors in 2001, the Arab American Association of New York (AAANY) has supported and empowered over 11,000 Arab immigrant community members by providing services to help them to adjust to their new home and become active members of society. In the ten years that AAANY has been serving New York’s Arab immigrant community, it has matured from a one-room social services agency into a robust, vital organization serving hundreds of families each year. Flourishing within an environment of ardent need and grassroots support, AAANY has evolved and expanded swiftly to meet the needs of a burgeoning Arab immigrant community.
