Christina Elhaddad, Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow
A recent law school graduate and a hopeful attorney, Christina Elhaddad is a Lebanese-American who currently serves the immigrant community in the New York region. Christina's interest in politics and later law school was fueled by a dire need to understand politics in the Middle East and its repercussions especially on migration. This curiosity led to an interest in human rights law, which morphed into an interest with immigration law, because it is an area of law in the United States that needs major reform. Christina attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a fellowship with the reputable Immigrant Justice Corps. She was fortunately placed with the Arab American Association of New York in order to lend a helping hand to the vulnerable Arab and Arab-American immigrant community of New York and the surrounding region. Christina passed the bar in NY and is awaiting her swearing in ceremony to become a licensed attorney.
