youth program intern

The Youth Program Intern will assist the Lead Youth Organizer in the implementation and coordination of youth programs and services. The Youth Program Intern's primary role is to coordinate, manage, and oversee the Racial Justice Program. 

The Youth Program Intern is expected to commit to at least 12 hours per week for 6 months

Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the development of curriculum for Racial Justice Program 
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops and events 
  • Supervise and evaluate youth progress of those participating in Racial Justice Program
  • Conduct outreach to youth through social media for events and workshops 

Requirements:

  • College student or graduate
  • Previous experience/interest working with youth 
  • Self-starter, able to operate independently and solve problems 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Demonstrated interest in Arab language, culture, and policies preferred
