Youth Voter Registration Program
AAANY is seeking 10 youth community organizing fellows to assist with our voter registration program. With their help we hope to reach our collective goal of registering 1,000 people by October 5th. Requirements:- must be a student between the ages of 16 and 21
- must be flexible enough to travel to areas within South Brooklyn
- must have excellent communication/networking skills
- must be a self-starter; able to operate independently
- must have experience organizing community events or community involvement
- follow up with organizers on progress with voter registration

attend mandatory training meetings
- excellent preparation for community organizing, nonprofit, civic engagement or social work
- August 13th - November 6th
- minimum of 5-7 hours per week
- each participant will receive a $200 stipend at the end of the 9 weeks
- an extra prize (cash or gift) will be awarded to the individual who registered the highest amount of new voters
- certificates of completion
- letters of recommendation from AAANY staff members
- community service hours
