How the Process Works

Schedule an Appointment

Visit our office or call AAANY to schedule an immigration appointment.

Initial Screening

Attend your scheduled appointment to complete an initial screening and identify the immigration assistance you need.

Assistance or Referral

Once the initial screening is complete, our team will provide application assistance to clients. AAANY will also facilitate referrals to trusted partner organizations depending on client needs.

Immigration Screening & Consultation Clinic

Confidential screenings and consultations that help community members understand their immigration needs, available options, and possible next steps.

Immigration Application Assistance Clinic

Assistance with preparing certain immigration forms and applications based on client eligibility and needs.

Citizenship & Naturalization Clinic

Support with naturalization eligibility screening, citizenship applications, required documents, and preparation for the English and civics portions of the naturalization process.

Work Permit & Green Card Renewal Clinic

Assistance with renewing or replacing Employment
Authorization Documents (Form I-765) and Permanent Resident Cards (Form I-90).

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS & COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Understanding your rights is an important part of protecting yourself and your family.

AAANY provides Know Your Rights workshops, informational town halls, and community education sessions to help immigrant families understand their rights, immigration options, and available community resources.

These sessions connect community members with reliable information and trusted sources of immigration assistance.
