




Adult Education & Women’s Empowerment
Our Adult Education program offers practical ESL instruction, Civics Tutoring, Women’s Empowerment workshops, and Workforce Development classes that are geared toward improving the social mobility of immigrants.
We currently offer multiple levels of ESOL and other classes, including:

Advocacy and Civic Engagement
Our Advocacy and Civic Engagement team works in solidarity with coalitions in New York and beyond to end hate violence, fight for community-based alternatives to policing, expand immigrant rights, expand voter engagement in immigrant and POC communities, and more.

Immigration Legal Services
Our pro bono, DOJ-accredited Immigration and Legal Services help community members navigate the US immigration system by helping to file applications with USCIS, providing referrals to our network of lawyers and affiliate organizations, helping clients prepare for their citizenship tests, and hosting Know Your Rights workshops and informational town halls for the local community.
We are able to provide direct support with the following applications and requests, among others:

Mental Health and Domestic Violence Support Services
Our Mental Health and Domestic Violence Program provides multilingual case management, one-to-one counseling with a licensed counselor, and clinical support groups that are oriented toward those in the community who are most vulnerable and lack other means to seek help. We provide referrals to a network of support agencies and community partners to ensure that our community members can access the resources they need to thrive.
Youth Program
AAANY’s Youth Program encourages young people to explore identity, history, politics, culture, climate justice, and more through civic engagement, interactive workshops, community projects, art activism, and more.
Brooklyn Arab Youth (BAY)
BAY is an in-person community organizing and youth activism afterschool program in Bay Ridge for Arab and BIPOC high school students.
Brooklynat
Brooklynat is a community group for high school and college-age young Arab women that explores themes of identity, community, well-being, and activism.
Social Services & Case Management
Through Social Services case management, we connect clients to critical resources including SNAP and other food benefits, HRA, housing support, Medicare and Medicaid, and more.

Career Readiness and Economic Development
Our Career Readiness and Economic Development” program (CRED) is designed to empower our community members at every step. It offers a wealth of resources. From personalized career counseling and job application support to insightful interview guidance and workplace etiquette in the US, we're here to help you thrive. We help our community members polish their resumes to perfection and equip themselves with essential skills through hands-on workshops and specialized computer classes. We also help them navigate their career path with confidence and help them take advantage of opportunities that come their way.
