Our Programs
AAANY provides culturally responsive programs that support Arab immigrants and Arab American communities across New York. Together, our programs connect individuals and families with education, legal support, essential services, employment opportunities, health and safety resources, civic engagement, community building opportunities, and more...

Opportunities You Need

We offer practical English as a Second Language classes, online Citizenship Preparation classes, and digital skills training to help immigrant and refugee adults strengthen their communication skills, prepare for the naturalization interview and citizenship test, build confidence, and navigate everyday life more independently.
We help immigrants secure work authorization and provide assistance with naturalization, permanent residency, Temporary Protected Status, adjustment of status, family petitions, and asylum applications. We also provide legal referrals and host Know Your Rights and other educational workshops for the community.
ADVOCACY & CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
We organize with coalitions in New York and beyond to prevent hate violence, advocate for community-based alternatives to policing, expand immigrant rights, and build community power.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
We offer workforce development classes and practical employment support to help immigrants build skills, access employment opportunities, and improve their social mobility.
MENTAL HEALTH & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT
We provide multilingual case management, one-on-one counseling sessions, clinical support groups, and referrals for vulnerable community members who may lack other means of seeking help.
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT
Through the Arab Women Activists & Leaders (AWAL) Program, we support women through leadership development, advocacy, financial literacy, wellness activities, creative workshops, and opportunities to build connections and participate in their communities.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
We offer educational support, leadership development, mentorship, arts, recreational activities, and community-building opportunities that help young people develop skills, build confidence, and create meaningful connections.
